Favre...Jets! Jets! Jets!
The Brett Favre saga is finally over.
He is now part of the New York Jets.
The Green Bay Packers traded him to the Jets because Favre wanted to be traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Petty, no?
There is plenty of blame to go around on both ends, but the breathtaking arrogance and severity with which the Packers pushed their legendary quarterback out the door makes me lean towards taking Brett's side a little bit.
Of course, with the Jets there is the mouth-watering prospect of watching Brett Favre go against Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the New England Cheat-riots twice a year. And something tells me that the NFL will put in an Jets - Peyton Manning (a.k.a. the Indianapolis Colts) game for the 2009-10 season.
Over? Well, it looks like we've only just begun...
