Shah Rakh Khan is Bigger Than George Clooney

I'm not sure if too many people noticed this but Om Shanti Om made $1.7M over the weekend US domestic box office.

This may not seem that big, but consider that it was only playing on 114 screens for an incredible per-screen average of $15,474 (highest, by far, among the films in wide release).

Clooney's Michael Clayton grossed $1.6M over the same timeframe, but was still in 1,150 theatres (the average was an anemic $1,476 per screen).

Looks like Sharh Rukh Khan's newly-minted six-pack was worth it after all.
