Yup, Anheuser Busch, guardian of the American brand Budweiser, has been sold to Belgian brewer InBev.
You heard that right, the King of Beers, the epitome of what it means to be American (Bud, Mom, and Applie Pie), is now Belgian.
Of course, given that I love Chimay, and Stella Artois, and Delirium Tremens, and DeuS (all Belgian beers) this now means that I can drink Bud.
Look out Mom and Apple Pie, with the plunging US Dollar, you could be next...
