Marat Safin continued his unlikely march to the Wimbledon semi-finals with a hard-fought win over Feliciano Lopez.
Now, normally if you see a scoreline like 3-6, 7-5, 7-6, 6-3, and you hear the words "hard" and "fought" in connection to Safin, you would safely assume that he was on the wrong end of things.
But our man put aside a slow, nervous start, used a rain delay at 2-5 in the first set to regroup and came back and managed to hold on for a tight, hard fought win.
Safin? Hard? Fought? Win?
As the man himself so eloquently put it: "Sh*t happens!"
