The Better Half and I attended a performance of Antony and Cleopatra in a lovely little faux amphitheatre down in Valley Park in Hermosa Beach.
A&C is a pretty crazy Shakespearean tragedy/comedy, with a very, very compelling central female character. That poor schlub Antony gets betrayed multiple times by Cleo, and he comes back every single time.
Man, love sure is hard sometimes.
